Chaos Damage is a problem

Fair enough. I'm done wasting time here anyway.
Chaos damage and therefore the issue with a certain Keystone called Chaos Inoculation is out of balance and need a new balance check.

The chaos res balance of 35% instead of 45% or now 48%, no res swaps for chaos,and the bad Amethyst Flask show that ages ago the game was balanced so that chaos damage was balanced around -60 chaos res. It was optional. Ocassionally there was a treat with chaos damage but nothing a good small Pantheon that granted immunity to Poison could solve (which got removed).

Chaos is omnipresent now in 3.18 due to design decisions of GGG which inherently makes Chaos Inoculation granting flat out one skill point immunity to a damage type is so broken.

Ask your self. Would you ruin your gear with chaos res or go CI if you have better results, more health pool, more regen, Aegis Block and Divine Shield without any cuts in damage?

I wonder if Chaos Inoculatuon gets adressed now that the devs want to make chaos damage a treat but apparently just for life based builds it seems.

CI is currently the end game king.

Its not a luxury stat at all. But the game has changed to make chaos damage a little bit more common.

Chaosweaver, Toxic, Entangler, Necromancer, Empowered Elements (chance), Altars giving +chaos damage, ...

More common poisons.

They definitely changed how much it appears. But its not out of this world expensive to cap Chaos res. You might have to sacrifice some damage or life though.
