So I just ran a Lava lake map

Just wanted to drop in that I love this games current design.

I run a map where the boss is Kitava. Spent the boss fight focusing on the rare monsters he spawns. The final boss of the acts was less annoying, scary and frustrating than the monsters he spawns. The monsters that are put in these long fights to let players fill their flasks are now officially more dangerous than the actual boss himself.

That map is easy. Sounds like a dps problem.

Lava Lake, Lookout, and similarly phased map bosses got indirectly harder with archnemesis rares.
I remember doing day 3 Lava Lake boss with my starter damage taking for like 5 minutes..
All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player.
So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0.
All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this.
The archnem rares in Lava Lake do make it much trickier, especially since the mob is naturally tanky. I feel your pain.
