Crashing after being online for a minute or so.

I know that there have been several problems with POE and Windows XP. I am Currently experiencing that when I log on an choose my character and enter the encampment the game freezes and kicks me off. I have tried restarting my computer and normally I find that if I reinstall POE normally any bug I have has been fixed. For this problem I haven't been able to it figure out. Help!
