Constant crashing

This error keeps occurring. At this point I have reinstalled Windows and installed a fresh copy of PoE from Steam on a fresh copy of Windows. I don't have the same error with any other game I play. Does anyone have any ideas?

Are there any other files I should attach? The production_Config.ini isn't even populated yet.

I'm not in the least authoritative on this but the GPU driver doesn't seem happy with PoE. May well not be the game's fault per se nor your system's necessarily, just one of those tiresome combination things.

After the standard troubleshooting advice:
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3072628

...if it were my PC I might be tempted to try going forward/back a graphics driver version or two. Only with drivers from the manufacturer's site, not dubious third party sites. That may make other games less happy as usual when trying these sorts of antics, plus is tiresome to do.

Dated and possibly irrelevant internet anecdotes also suggest:
- Turning off Path of Exile's multithreading
- Restoring normal clock speed if the GPU is overclocked (you'd know if you overclocked it, otherwise it isn't overclocked)
- Underclocking the GPU if at normal clock speed (not for the faint-hearted!)

(Ancient and not this specific problem: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2786295/page/3)
(Not PoE: https://steamcommunity.com/app/209650/discussions/0/613940477962122847)

Given you don't have a populated production_Config.ini, for the first one above you may just be able to open the (presumably blank) ini in Notepad and add:

[GENERAL]
engine_multithreading_mode=disabled

and save the file. When I tried this, PoE noticed the setting I'd added and then re-added the relevant parts as well. But I don't have the problem so I can't see if it'll help.

Sorry I can't give better (or arguably good) advice!
Thank you so much for the suggestions.

I did try all the standard troubleshooting advice, but good to check.

I tried populating the .ini file with the starter you provided. No luck there. (I also haven't been able to find any documentation on the .ini file, which is interesting.

Rolling back the driver on my graphics card is an interesting suggestion. I will try that next.
