Life leech?

Does anyone know how to tell if your life leech is balanced out? Meaning between all the mods, making sure you don't have too much or too little of one. I started a Duelist Slayer character with Endless Hunger and right now I have:

Life leech from any attack damage: 2.4%
Base maximum recovery per life leech: 716 (20%)
Life leech total recovery per second modifier: +100%
Maximum total life recovery per second from leech: 823.4 (23%)

Wtf do all these numbers mean? My assumption is if you have too much life leech then your leech will be limited by your other stats. I can add more to these stats through the skill tree with Leech Mastery, and I can get more life leech from attack damage as well.

this depends on your hit damage. If it is very high, 0.2% leech is plenty.. and getting more does nothing..

I don't know if I call that "too good", is there something that sums it up better?

I mean would it be worth getting 20% increased maximum total life recovery per second from leech in the leech mastery?
