How does this vaal detonate dead spellslinger build for zizaran's video work?

I have 3 questions from this video, but can't get an answer from the comments so I hope someone here can explain to a noob like me:

1. He can spam vaal detonate dead and even has 3 charges, but how is that possible? I can only use it once, then there's the cooldown and then I have to get 30 souls

2. He has spellslinger + 6 auras that come to 215% mana reservation, but I don't see him using any auras in his gameplay part in the video, maybe just spellslinger

3. How is he creating corpses using spellslinger if you need to attack using your wand? In his PoB he uses frenzy, but I don't see him using it at all in the gameplay part, so how is he creating corpses with spellslinger?

1. It's not vaal detonate dead. He's using regular detonate dead linked to an unleash support gem. This allows him to 'unleash' multiple ones at once after a short charge up.

2. The video seems different from the linked PoB and is also in standard league. You should probably stick to the PoB if you're trying to follow this guide. The video is just a general showcase of the gameplay I assume.

3. Basically the same as 2.

After a quick search I found a video of the build creator ziz mentions a bunch of times with a showcase / guide of the current league:

Thank you very much, but why does he want us to use vaal detonate dead then if he doesn't use it? And thanks for the other video.
The PoB has very little info on what gems to actually use late game and what you can discard, it only has what items to look for
