How do I stop Shader Cache?

It is ridiculous that 3-4 times a day, my disk usage jumps to 50% (or more) and it is always Path trying to update/DL/Whatever Shader Cache.

Every.
Single.
Day.

I am about ready to completely uninstall your GD game because of this garbage.

And please do not tell me to disable it in Steam, I've tried, no matter what I have tried, every day, 3-4 times a day, my computer's performance takes a shit, even if I am not playing PoE. Hell I have shut down Steam completely and it STILL does it.

Becoming fed up.
