That is slightly incorrect.
You will be brought to Karui Shore once you defeat Sirus for the first time. Awakening level 8 is not needed. |

SSF - First character to level 90 in 15 hours, they entered Karui Shores not long after that. So 16 hours from start to first Sirus kill.
