Impale with Allies (including The Impaler keystone)

If I were to use Impales, my damage is spread over the next few hits. The description of Impale does not specify who deals the hit, and I'm fairly certain any unit can proc my impales. So the question is, if my allies proc my Impales, will they gain my Physical Overwhelm based on the original hit, or not? I figure not, but it seems like bad quality of life in partying with Impale.

Followup, The Impaler Keystone says "For 4 seconds after you Impale enemies, they cannot be Impaled again". Does this apply to entities that aren't you, such as minions and party members? Can they not Impale anymore when I hit? Or is it a self-debuff only, despite the wording?

The impale is reflected dmg (so there is no source, it's done from mob to itself). Physical overwhelm stat will be captured onto impale stacks when you impale the enemy. So I believe that it means yes. Overwhelm will be done.

I don't know. I'd expect it applies only by impales done by you personally.

MY CHALLENGES ARE DONE ON HC, IT'S NOT SC GUYS!
If you bothered reading the wiki for The Impaler you'd have the answer to your second question. The keystone does exactly what it says and prevents the enemy from being impaled by any source.

The wiki is backed up on information for 2 leagues, which doesn't bode well with a mechanic that's only 3 leagues old. On top of that, none of the information is sourced by anybody, let alone a dev like would be the case on most mechanics.

Most of the information on the wiki follows the exact language on the keystone. I looked far and wide for anybody that could corroborate it (Google, Reddit, Pathofexile.com, etc.), I came up empty. Considering the implications on party play, I think I could use a better source.
Unless GGG made an oopsie, the keystone clearly reads the mod is on the enemy. I doubt anyone has done the considerable work it would take to test this since there is no ambiguity in the text.
