Please give feedback on this Inquisitor build

Hi guys. Just started playing PoE.

I tried to find some beginner friendly build for Inquisitor Templar focused on fire damage. Did not find any that were stated "beginner friendly".

So, after analyzing the passive tree, I created a build focused on fire damage yet not giving up on some life and energy shield for some survivability.

Since I just started, of course I want some feedback on this passive, and tips to change it if needed, and some skill-gems and gear I should focus.

Sorry if this is not the right forums to post it.

Also, thank you in advance!

You might want to take a look at the new skill tree coming in 3.16: https://i.redd.it/ta0m955kk7u71.png

Let me get some things I still have questions.

There are new changes in the skill tree in every new patch? This changes affect standard (no-league) characters too?

Considering there's a limit to passive skills respec, if I start a build in standard (no-league) it can become dated in future patches, forcing me to create a brand-new character?

Thank u guys for your patience.

Well, usually not this many. This is one of the few skill tree updates this game has gotten in 9-10(?) years. In standard, every new patch, you will be given a free "All respec" button when you press your skilltree button, allowing you to re-allocate all of your previous passive nodes into the new ones or to tinker your build. But I really suggest just playing the league every time one comes out, which is every three months, as that way you start fresh on a new economy. Here is a list of all of the new "mastery" skills that are being added in 3.16: https://poeplanner.com/

I'll personally be using POE Planner because I'm on a mac until the Mac POB fork gets updated, but if you have any questions, let me know.

Thank you for your reply on those secondary questions I had.

Since I plan to play only casual for now with my wife, I'll stick to the standard (my main game addiction is Elder Scrolls Online, btw). If I get addicted to the game, then I'll start on the upcoming league.
You can always start in a league as your character is transfered to Standard where you can continue playing it when the league ends.
