Anyway to inrcease shadow resolution?

I have a pretty hefty PC, and I'm really sick of games not allowing me to pump up the shadow resolution.

Max should be max. Is there the possibility of adding a proper shadow resolution setting to graphics? Like, ranging from default all the way up to god teir levels for people with alot of vram.

Just the flickery shadows are annoying me, is all.

What are you talking about? There are shadow options and they're quite proper already. The word your looking for should be "more detailed".

And the shadow is already great! It's one of the trademark of this game after all, so they have to make it good :)

So why are the outdoor shadows such terrible resolution?
I have this game running on max EVERYTHING. my pc has more than enough guts to handle it.

so why are the shadows such a letdown?

when indoors, its fine, they look great, but when outdoors, the super low resolution becomes painfully apparent.
Its just plain ugly. its my one and only complaint about this game.
If your going to make an effort to have a really nice shadow thing happening, don't bring it down with parts of the game that look great and other parts that are HIDEOUS!

i noticed it the most in the outdoor areas in act 3. the place itself looked great, but my enjoyment was hampered by the shadows, they were an eyesore

Find yours and maybe tweak the digits there?

Im the opposite of you with a super bad PC so i had to lower my graphics to super low which i can't do ingame, but i could by editing the file itself. Maybe it goes both ways with making i higher im not sure, i never tested it to go higher :)
