Vendors unable to use currency from stash for purchases

I have noticed this issue come up frequently this league. Note this is NOT talking about Siosa in the library, but all other vendors. I know that Siosa does not allow access to your stash normally.

Problem:
Once you change zones, talk to any NPC vendor, such as Zana in hideout or Lilly in Oriath/Karui Shores, they are not able to use currency in your currency stash tab for any purchase. The cost will display in red and not allow the purchase.

If I visit my stash and click on the currency tab once, then go back to the NPC, they can access my stash for the purchase again, but if I leave the area the issue repeats again.

If I clicked on my stash and did not click on the currency tab, then the price is still in red and won't allow the purchase.

Solution tried from chat:
I mentioned this in global chat and was suggested it can be fixed by having your currency tab in the stash NOT in a folder and at the first position in your tabs. I tried this and it only helped once. Trying to repeat it several times resulted in the bug happening every other time.

While writing this post I re-created the problem several times in a row, but once or twice the vendor allowed the purchase without visiting my stash. It seems reproducible for me about 80% of the time.

Note: I do not recall experiencing this issue so much prior to this league.
