Hexblast interaction with Secrets of Suffering and Elder portals during last phase of Elder fight

Hello guys,

just wanted to let you know that i tried using Secrets of Suffering on a crit Hexblast Occultist and wasn't able to inflict Scorch, Sap or Brittle.
I don't know if this is even a bug, but it seems odd to me that the skill can ignite, freeze and chill but not scorch etc.

Also I did the normal Elder fight and couldn't apply any curses on the Elder portals, that spawn the mobs while the Shaper prepares to bind the Elder.
I have played a map with Elder portals and was able to curse them there, but not during the boss fights' last phase.

Hope you guys can figure out whats or, if anything at all!

I've had the same experience with Secrets of Suffering with Hexblast. I believe this is because Secrets of Suffering changes your elemental damage effects (aka your cold damage now applies brittle instead of chill, as per the wiki) and as Hexblast does only Chaos Damage, it doesn't interact. If you put added cold damage onto spells onto your hexblast, it will inflict brittle, but it's pretty useless as brittle is scaled by the amount of cold damage done.
