Rage Vortex General Cry

While using General Cry with Rage Vortex, the Mirage Warriors will not sacrifice Rage to bring forth the additional effects provided by the Rage Vortex Gem with their attacks.

I don't think General's Cry Mirage gain Rage charges.

I figured that would be the association to it but with triggered skills requiring mana, and essentially General Cry acting as a sort of triggered skill there shouldn't be a reason the Mirage Warriors can't pull from your own rage pool. If that's the case though then why even make Rage Vortex work with General Cry, it makes the build completely useless without the ability to sacrifice Rage.
