Ice Nova+Frostbolt question

When you cast Ice Nova on two Frostbolts with one cast, can those two novas shotgun a target, or will only one do damage?

all AoE effects can "shotgun" from one cast. im pretty sure every single one
so yes they both do damage. this is why pledge of hands with frostbolt/ice nova is strong, because you get so many hits with one cast so long as the enemy remains in its aoe
