I have a 6S/5L shav I was lucky enough to chance rofl. Going to try this with fire first as all my talents are in fire. Reason I am posting is because you need the dream frag for FP for ele reflect mobs right? I don't think I need it with fire, but correct me if I'm wrong.

" the clash between RF and Dual Totem is that you cannont leech es if you have dual totem. This means if you are hit by mobs you cannot regen es like you normally would. Having RF on means you are constantly taking damage so the only way to use RF&dual totem at the same time is if you use a flask with dispel burning to turn RF off >wait 3 seconds for ES to regen full again>turn on RF>move on. |

I have a question, what about using Alpha Cowl for the helm? Would it be worthwhile and could you make better use of your auras, boost your survivability with some awesome +2 to auras?

" ES from helm is way to important to replace. +2 to auras is nice but not worth losing over 500-2000 es. Also dream fragments is an AWESOME ring. Yes it doesnt have alot of resist or damage, but 20% max mana increase AND 50% regen are life savers when your not using mana leech IGN: Crotchless

Got my purity to level 20 finally (and other auras)... had to take a 30 str node to max vitality, but that might come off later with gear. Anyway, still searching for high ES helm and shield. Might need a little fire/lightning res on those. If anyone has some old ones for sale let me know please. Not looking for hand outs... I'll pay!

^ personally Im in love with Freezing Pulse because
1. fast base cast time of 0.65 seconds which means you dont really need any cast speed nodes 2. high base crit chance 6% making the full use of crit chance nodes and further amplified by increase crit damage gem 3. cold damage and freeze as a CC (crowd control) is another survival bonus I havent tried ice spear but it would be a great idea to test it out ice spear can go more towards the dps version because of its long range |
