Boss taking zero damage

I was fighting the wastelands map on a normal version tier 16 or around for the awakened bonus with Mavis watching earlier. She said defend during the boss fight a few times and the boss started to heal a bit but then his hp stopped moving at 80% or around. He wasn't taking any damage against physical, lightning, fire or chaos from my minions or me.

Just thought that was strange. I know he heals himself but there was zero hp bar movement going on healing or otherwise.

Any thoughts?

Also submit a bug report.

Its not a bug. That boss has some serious life leech so he was probably matching or close to matching the incoming damage with his leech.

The "defend" callout also increases mitigation for the bosses so there is that too.

The Character Boss does have enough power in-game to sustain bigger attacks, but still, if HP isn't moving at all, better take screen recording as proof and mail it to the team. Could have been a major bug probably.

Im thinking this

Wasteland boss regens hp REALLY fast if he is on the ground where he slams i think and with marven he may not even took damage as fast as he could heal

I had a build like a league or so ago and was doing a t16 map and i could not kill the boss (i dont remember if i could even damage him or not) it was the clone of oak boss and i had to get someone to kill him for me

Also adding on this i had another boss that i invited people to try to kill because i couldnt not damager her and almost everyone in the party died but i think someone did kill her with some OP build in the end

You probably want to take Frost Bomb for him in a Maven T16. He uses Consecrated Ground and also has decent attack block, armor, and some general damage reduction. Between those and Maven's buffs, he can be a real slogfest. He's not particularly dangerous so long as you avoid his slams, but he can be really hard to kill for some builds.

Frost Bomb helps tremendously by at least helping to counter both his Consecrated Ground and Maven's regen buff.
