Accuracy for skills like Dominating Blow, Herald of Purity

Dominating Blow (DB):
25% Chance to Summon a Normal Sentinel of Dominance when you Hit a Unique Monster

Herald of Purity (HoP):
20% chance to Summon a Sentinel of Purity when you Hit a Rare or Unique Enemy


A newbie, maybe silly question.
I suppose I would need to invest in accuracy for skills like DB and HoP?

The 20-25% stated is assuming I have 100% hit chance?

So say if I only have 50% hit chance then actual "spawn" chance is
10-12.5% or it is not so simple since need to take into account of enemies evasiveness?

Sure, I guess. Typically you've enough attack speed that maintaining these isn't an issue, accuracy or no.

Don't invest into accuracy.

Since the main damage comes from the minions you usually want to choose the Resolute Technique keystone on the left side of the skill tree. That way you don't have to manage accuracy and have a 100% hit chance.

Go to https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds and choose dominating blow. Select the heatmap on skill tree on top right. You can see the most important skill tree decisions for your build.

Indeed poe.ninja shows around 50% had RT. But I decided not to spec into it as it is a little bit far. Managed to get hit chance to 90% using precision, so at least no need heavy investment into gear or tree.
