Streamers are free advertisers that usually help generate income, new players, content/help for other players. I don't know what kind of advertising they are getting here other than horrific.
People in Twitch chat may be "ripping the company". But that's all anyone does on any platform online anymore. Streamers are playing the game. Viewers see their favorite streamers playing the game. They then start playing the game themselves. More players = more money. More players = healthier game.
How many new players have you brought to POE? Because I bet these streamers with prio have brought a lot more.
Also, I'm willing to bet that 99% of the people complaining, still come back to play every league. Everyone wants to complain when something goes wrong, but not many will say when things are going right. People online just like to complain. But they will still log in, and still play. GGG and POE wouldn't be where they are now if POE wasn't a great game.
Give it a week, and you wont have to wait in a que to log in more than likely anyways. Just like every other league ever.
Do you think people comes to Poe after seeing GGG has given priority to streamers and rest of the players struggle in endless Q and crashes? I dont think so.

And now we must watch streamers enjoy the game while suffering 20k+ queues...
There are more than streamers to this game.
It's not like Twitch was a video game streaming platform anyway. People go there to watch soft porn xD

This is not news on this market, many other developers do it too. Like for example war thunder got "journalist" accounts that have everything unlocked and near unlimited cash shop currency. So I would not be surprised at all if GGG has a "under the rug" favorites system too.

for that they have alpha and test servers.... so the streamers can test content... but usually the game developers should never ever give any player an advantage on a Live server which Live economy.
