Projectiles Functioning As Intended?

in areas with 2 levels for instance a dungeon where a skeletal mage or archer might be on a ledge above you that you must access from stairs nearby i notice that i can stand right up to the wall and my projectiles will function as if that wall is not even there. altough graphically the projectiles will crash into the wall and fizzle they still do dmg the the monsters above

is this intended?

What kind of projectiles are you using? Fireballs can probably catch them in the AoE of the explosion.

i noticed this on my wand witch using power siphon with multi projectiles in the waterfall cave but it works everywhere ill see if i can snap a s/s of it and edit it into this post in a minute here

im going to post 2 sets of screen shots taken at 2 different spots in the game
-the first shot in each pair will be showing the monsters location in relation to me so that you can see there is a barrier between us that i assume should stop my projectile from hitting it.
-the second will be showing me hitting it through that barrier reguardless
