How can I get armours with 40%+ resist?

The crafting bench only has a maximum of 35% elemental resist how can I get those armours with 40%+resist?Is it RNG?

It is... RNG. If by "RNG" you mean "high tier modifiers".

Crafting Bench can help you manually craft one (or two) modifiers of your liking in an item. However, they are either exclusive to Benchcrafting (for example, most signature veiled mods) or are mid-tier versions of modifiers you can find on items with high enough item level.

For example, you can benchCraft a 25% MovSpd on a pair of boots, but you can find boots as drop which have 30% MovSpd. If you use items with Item Level above 85 (drop from rare monsters in lv83 maps), they can even reach up to 35% movSpd

Otherwise, Deafening essences can be used to craft a "tier0" modifier, as in a modifier whose magnitude is higher than what you can craft even in an ILvl100 item.

The chance for a high-enough item to roll a high-enough tier (and a high-enough roll) is a triple-RNG factor. As most of the things in this game, honestly.

Its pure RNG. Using either orbs or harvest crafts to get the desired tier. Harvest is much safer method to achieve something like this.

Provided their item level is high enough to roll a T1 modifier, yes, Harvest is the best choice. It is the most deterministic crafting we had... and will ever have

Ritual:

Ritual's reward, sometimes, are similiar to Delve rewards.

For example, the armour DoubleU posted could be similiar to a Resistant Armour reward from an Armour delve node.

Sometimes they are more similiar to a leecherous mating between a Resonator and a Harvestcraft. I saw, for example, a Sceptre that only rolled fire modifiers.

I like that. Not enough to run every single damn Ritual I find, but I like that

To Maxtrux's point - I have had success in Delve with Armour nodes as well.

They are not even that expensive on trade because these days ppl rather have double-influenced chests.
