Don't listen to these people. They don't understand that not everyone has the currency to pay for an expensive item such as this. I had countless people tell me "LOL you wont get xxx amount for yyy item" I just ignored them and thanked them for the free bump and what do you know? The next day I get the buyout price I wanted.
I wanted 40 exalts for my mirror and I got it, sold just today.
Mirrors aren't really dropping. Exalts are gaining value.
Now that is worth debating. But we can both agree that powerful uniques are easy replacements for high crafted rares. Imo the demand for mirrors are dropping, but at the same time exalts are gaining value.
This OP, however, even knew exalt values were rising, but he couldn't figure out that that means the mirror will sell for LESS rofl.

Look at his starting bid.

Yes, I understand that it's 50 exalts. However the point of my post is to tell the OP not let others tell you what you should sell the item for. You should be free to price your own items however you wish and if others have a problem with it, just tell them to fuck off :).
sure rng can help you easily one fuse to 6L. what you just told me accounted for three orders of magnitude of combinations
does rng give you a possible 100% perfect item drop? nope that's the other 12 orders you have not accounted for.
let's even take into account your 90%+ perfect items with all the correct mods but has 2nd local values of prefixes and suffixes. that only reduces the the combinations by 3 to 4 magnitudes
now let's add the casual gamer factor who finds such an item and the rest of PoE world does not know about it or even does not do the favor of mirroring for you. add a magitude or 2?
math>rng
you have to look at how rng works
its function is to create probability at that set value at the overall scheme of things
if you are going to tell me there are a few items out there that are worth 100+ ex then show me. the number of players PoE currently has, the comparatively better trading communications (versus d2), the time it has been out is ample enough for even one 100+ ex item to exist
the logic of everyone is why pay 50ex mirror which is clearly overpriced when you can buy some 30ex item or even overpay it by 20 exalts and you get to freely chrom it if you were to change your build or switch characters
no there exists no such perfect ring in d2. they are godly and worth a lot but does not have maximum mod values
i owned a large inventory of duped and permed items in d2 and all beneficial mods and maximum values in a ring do not exist
you also have not accounted for an item that rolls 6 perfect mod pools (not stat rolls) that a user has to get 95%-100% perfect stat rolls (like the owner of the previous armor I linked did)
obviously you haven't googled this
11^3*14^3*9^3*4*6^2*6^3*1500 with 2nd order local prefix values
divine never comes into the argument once you reach that first order local prefix values

so? and this has anything to do with you overpricing your mirror...how? that chest is worth 100 exalts but not the mirrored version. lol.
Exalts go up by 1 Gcp per half week and your asking why I have a high price for my mirror?
it has been almost 4 weeks since your post so originally 5 gcp for 1ex now becomes 13 gcp for 1ex? wrong
also. the value of ex has been increasing since two months ago. so projecting that becomes 20 gcp for 1ex? even more wrong
