Weird Error (Video)

I was Act 2 walking along when all of a sudden this video error happened to me. It seemed like either the shading gets problematic or perhaps a pathing mechanic gone wrong since it seems to stick to either or the enemy.
It's some green line web, sometimes turning black. In the trees I see some layers of white... I recorded on Xfire all of a sudden without great quality, and don't mind my friends talking in the background on Skype. >_> Graphics were on the highest settings, and I learned of Debug after the fact. Are you sure your Videocard was not getting hot?

I'm confident it's not my video card, I have an Nvidia 550 and it handles this game with no problem, and some.
I likely had both Steam and Xfire overlays running at the time, and I don't use the Skype UI so that wasn't an overlay. Not sure what else I can provide... Windows 7 x64 8 Gigs ram AMD Athlon II x3 440 @ 3.0 Ghz "¡Quando ay caramba, Donde ésta?"

Press F1 and check your FPS. If it's well over 60, try turning on Vsync.
Graphics cards that are too awesome can render a lot faster than your monitor can display, and all the extra, wasted work can causing overheating. Code warrior

i get the exact same problems. at certain points the gfx just go beserk.
after a while i get things like the map overlay no longer draws, however the text listing the region in the upper right does appear. it generally crashes the client after running around for a few minutes after seeing this problem. in this last crash literally 2 minutes ago i only got major issues when i was frozen. (vault sorcerors in the church dungeon) im running with VSync on, and fps is locked to around 60fps. Running on a gtx 590, GPU temps are pretty standard ~60 deg, nothing taxing the hardware according to GPU-Z whatsoever. Full dxdiag below. and i'll upload some screencaps to illustrate.

I had this exact same issue as in those screenshots for a while... In the end it turned out that 2 of my RAM-sticks were bad. (Ran memtest86+) Now I'm stuck with only 8GB RAM while the faulty modules are being RMA:d, but the issue disappeared completely and hasn't returned since I removed the memory sticks.

I get such stuff (map overlay not drawing anymore, area completely blank apart from an arrow and some weird lines) when I am playing for a long time. I think it might be related to having much loaded into memory/visiting a lot of instances in a short period of time. Quiting the game and coming back solves the problem. Usually if I do nothing, the game will crash anyway. I can't test the theory tho, because I can't even bring up a command prompt when running the game, without totally crashing the computer.
