GGG should bring back two socket chest as well as buff the drop rate of other two socket abyss unique

i skip them 99% of the time and if i accidentally open on i often ignore it

i hate chasing that shit around 3/4 of the map for 1 shitty jewel

I think one - and maybe the major problem - is:

That more league specific loot drops (nowadays) from delirium, blight, heist, etc. instead of their original league content, which makes the original league content feel obsolete.

examples:

1.) Essences:
I can find more and better ones from Heist than from the actual league league content it originates from.

2.) Abyssal Jewels:
I can find a lot more abyssal jewels (even synthesized ones) from Heist rather than from an Abyss. (I also found unique abyssal items that way)

Etc.

Instead of buffing the drops from their parental leagues we see new leagues dropping more and more stuff from older leagues which dilutes the older league's value.

Remember when Chris said "original league mechanics should, and will, be the best sources for their respective league flagged uniques and influenced items"?

He said this after people complained that Legion encounters and incubators all but obsoleted breach/abyss in both volume and quality.

This is still true, and holds true for any league mechanic, at least during the league. Once it goes core, at least as far as Legion/Blight/Delirium are concerned, it's still true.

Want loads of high-grade breachstones? Sims, juiced deli maps, incubators all beat the pants off opening dozens of breaches and waiting in line at the It-a-torium to get them polished.

Want i84+ abyssal jewels and stygian? Sims, Legion and Heist

Want 84+ temple mod bases ESPECIALLY atlas bases? Sims, Legion, blight, etc.

Want double corrupt quality gems or vaal gems? They're more common than aquarium gravel in Heist.

I still run my stinkin' abysses when I find them. Still slog through temples when they finally pop (alva is still great quant for a normally sparse map). Still do a little happy dance and gloat in 820 when I pick up a double digit number of chayula splinters from a random breach.

i skip abyss entirely

I usually skip abyss until maps cos t depths can spawn only there.. So aye I still do them it’s not that rewarding as it used to be, but hey this is PoE we playing;)

Bring back the original mods on abyss jewels, and we'll be back to farming those abysses.

Actually you know it is jewel or Abyssal depth.

If it is depth, it will open at the first hole, if it is jewel the abyss will open another hole (i.e. it jumped)
