It's times like these that makes me sad I don't live in NZ/Australia or have any programming experience of any kind. FeelsBadMan.
I want to eventually apply for a job as a programmer to work at GGG once i finish the University, but i'm autistic and the programmer requirements include excellent communication skills but as an autistic person my social skills are pretty lacking(it's a biological problem with brain development around the social area, but autistic people are very hard working individuals that are focused, as well as being excellent at finishing tasks that they are interested in, not to mention the average higher IQ and intelligence in general. I worry that my disability with social skills will mean i can not apply for a job at GGG. I got over 4K hours of experience with poe too but by then I'll probably have double of that. I'm still not in the university yet but I'll apply to it next year. I live in Brazil but by then i think New Zeeland's borders should be open and I'll have enough working experience to apply too.
Gimme a ticket and I fly over to Aotearoa!
Only need to learn Māori.
Did your whole staff leave or something? Looks like a role for every position in the company, should we be worried?
I heard you guys say you do not have the resources to train kiwis in the past and just import because it is cheaper and easier. I guess covid has made that more difficult, might be time to do the country a service and start training people and provide some intern positions to students to find potential employees.

You really should invest in remote employment capabilities.

Many interested parties that really can't move.
Theory craft, its why I have used all 24 character slots and the strangest builds you'll ever see.
