Aisling double veil question

Hey. Tried to find this info elsewhere but no luck so far.
My question is then:

I have an awesome ring with 4 perfect mods.
I just tried letting Aisling (Tier 3 in recearch) veil it, but only got 1 veiled mod on it.
Can i then remove crafted mods, and then try again with Aisling in tier 3, and if im lucky, get 2 veiled mods?
Or is the items locked and will always get only 1 (and the same one?)

It will only (possibly) give 2 mods if you have an open prefix and an open suffix. Are your 4 mods 2 prefixes and 2 suffixes? I think it will always give the same mod choices so whichever choices you just got will always be your choices for that prefix or suffix.

Ok. That rules out this item, since this one has 1 prefix and 3 suffixes.

Im still wondering though, if my item had met the parameters, for getting 2 veiled mods, but i still had only gotten 1. Would it then be possible, to keep trying and eventually get 2 veiled mods?

Yes. I think it’s random if you get a prefix, a suffix, or both.
