Alching Heist Contracts?

Does alching Heist contracts impact the quanity/rarity for items in chests or give more exp to your rogues? Basically is it even worth alching them if you don't care about mob drops/experience? It seems to me that they are only adding to the danger and make the contracts harder.

risk v reward. Each player decides for themselves. There's no absolute because we all play at different strengths. Some will say yes and be right. Others will say yes and be wrong.
I don't alch them. Did for a set of ten and came out less for it. The problem I had was maintaining alchs without bringing back rares to sell. |

" In general IIQ and IIR don't affect chests, only mob drops. There may be exceptions I don't know about though. If this is true, then alcing makes even less sense. To answer the original question, I don't alc. I only transmute about half the time. |

IIQ from contract should affect the loot from chests.

You alc contracts for the lower alert thing so you can open more chests, not for the IIQ

I alched the first ~500, then stopped caring about loot and ran the rest of the 750 as white without even looting anything except the artifact.
It might be worth testing, but it was not worth it to me to alch them. |

I alch (and sometimes vaal) them all for IIQ, lower alert and more reward room monsters. I'm trying to push my all time max character level so the extra xp is nice. Dying isn't an issue so why not.
