How to unlock trinket slot

Hi,

I have 2 characters above 80 now and have done about 6 blueprints. I can’t seem to unlock my trinket slot, reading online you unlock it on your first blueprint through a crafting recipe. I didn’t see / click this the first contact for each blueprint.

Is there a way i am missing for me to unlock the trinket, or have I just been unlucky (rng)?
