Tutorial popups

I know they can be annoying for experiences players of the game, or even players with some knowledge of the genre, but considering the amount of complex systems in the game, a quick popup on screen telling you about a system when it becomes available would not be unwelcome for new players.

A large portion of global chat that I have seen in my playtime so far has been questions on 'how do I level up gems' 'how do I change my skill hotkeys' and similar questions.

Two lines of text on screen in the right place would stop these questions from ever needing to be asked.

While i fully support some sort of tutorial, i dare to stake my kiwi on it that people will still be asking those questions in chat, perhaps just a little less fequent ( Very few people actually read the tutorial, especially not when they're a lot of text )
Shoep - Default league Ranger
Peohs - Any other class or character i play.
Jhuvik - My Marauder
Merialeth - My witch

Some people will definitely skip the tutorials still end up asking those questions, but if they only seeded these hints throughout normal difficulty for your first character it wouldn't bother experienced players and is sure to help someone.
I never have a problem with 'how' to use skill based keys. Though I do frequently forget how to utilise many of the chat features & hotkeys associated with chat. I suspect its because chat functions are still 'fairly new' to beta, but im not always easily able to talk in the way I want.

E.G.: When you type @, it should bring up the previous people you have whispered to rather than randoms from global chat.
Also, is there a hotkey for Party chat without using %?

Since there are so many chat options, it would be useful to be able to set a 'default', so your base chat is always party if thats what you want. You could make it an automatic switch when you enter parties, but being able to set it yourself might become useful as well (especially if additional chat channels are added)
