Damage types confusion...?!?!

I am currently playing a CoC Nova assassin and obviously nova and frost bolt are both spells and should be affected by "spell damage", right?

However, I picked energy shield leech on spell damage, and it does not seem to work. How is that possible if nova and frostbolt are spells?

Yeah, its mainly a life build but I have around 700 es or so. I have tested it a lot and it does not make a difference if I pick the node or not.

with 700es, your maximum es leach per sec is around 70 and 14es per instance, maybe it's just too small to notice?

edit, you can try energy leech support and see if the dmg is increasing or not.

Es leech doesn't work on CoC or CwC. They are attack even though you are triggering spells.

The codes break for a long time.
