" Every League is a fresh character so that never happened. In Standard you also "forgot" those Masters who betrayed you used to hang out with their personal crafting benches, you fogot Cavas and his collapsing memories, forgot there used to be sulphite deposits EVERYWHERE, also monoliths, invasions by Abyssals/Harbingers/etc. Depending on which league your character is from. As far as I'm concerned, each character exists in a separate reality which collapsed at the end of the League dumping him into a new reality where the League was dismissed as just a dream or something. Gotta go easy on that Vaal pipeweed. So according to current reality, Uber Elder fight never happened you never met Zana before releasing her from the Atlas she found some other rubes to fight for her instead. |

"This one is kind of funny because the Cavas subplot is not acknowledged in the Conqueror storyline as far as I know, so even the conquerors of old might not be aware of anything that happened during Synthesis. But yeah they've been letting each league be its own continuity since around Betrayal where the old masters betray you, the player, but the exile you play as never met them until then. My headcanon right now is that when the conquerors were still exiles, the Forsaken Masters were the masters they had before the masters became a part of the Syndicate. |

" I'd have to disagree on the better design. Even the elder guardians all have area denial abilities, most could just be bypassed by pushing the next phase through sheer damage aside from eradicators immune phase. My last sirus awakening 8 kill, his death beam actually followed me, the first blast firing behind me only for the next one to adjust and kill me. There's really no counterplay if dodging the telegraphed ability just to get hit instantly after getting out of the way. Sirus covers most of the screen in death before you even start, but despite having more experience with shaper I still find Shaper 8 harder than Sirus 8, so I'm sure Uber 8 will still set the bar. Yep, totally over league play.

" I did too many of the old master missions to "forget" about them and their crafting benches. Cavas isn't forgotten so much as blocked out of memory. Even in delve sulphite wasn't everywhere, and was definitely one of the more frustrating aspects of that league. But I'll give you the collapsing dream/reality whatever =p. Yep, totally over league play.
