Melee Attack Totem (Golem)

This has probably been suggested before, but the idea is you turn a melee attack into a "golem" (as a totem would be stupid). So a Strength support gem.
Haven't thought much about damage scale mechanics etc but who else would like to see something like this?
Should it be classed as a "totem" so that you are only allowed one, two if you go with the totem keystone?
Tin foil hats are a lie propagated by the aluminium industry.

Seems kind of cool, but potentially tricky to implement (e.g. does the golem get summon support skills? How much life? Base damage? Etc?)
Yeah I suppose that depends on if it is classed as a totem or a minion.

my summoner at level 48 has 10 zombies, 4 spectres, and up to 13 skeletons... Sure, let's add 2 flicker-strike golems to that mix. he's not OP enough.
My words are poetry and thus not subject to spellcheck or the laws of grammar.
I like the idea.... but maybe it should be restricted to Red Melee Gems?

.... or rather, the Golem is treated as though wielding a 2H Mace?
