Resolution problem

Is there any way to change your resolution WITHOUT launching the game? Because I used to play in 1920X1080, but I have a new monitor which doesn't support that. However, when I launch the game, obviously it is still set to that, so i get an out of range error, so I need to change it. Any help is appreciated.

Also, if a dev sees this, wouldn't it be easier to store the graphics setting in a local .ini file for a user to change outside of the game? If there already is one, I can't find it (I've checked Program Files, Appdata, and my documents)

Never mind, I found it under "My games" lol.

For others with the same problem: The inifile is at My Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\production_Config.ini.

thanks for the fix was having a issue not being able to change the resolution in ne way with the client

I am actually having the same issue here. My game resolution shrunk down and now it's not even as big as a gameboy display.

What makes the situation much more difficult for me is: one, my processor and video card aren't exactly sweet and all, the reason being; two, I installed and intend to play the game on my macbook pro. Not to mention I can't seem to access the "prod_config.ini" file.

I can't use 1920x1980 fulscreen at all. The game forse fulscreen window. The config file does not help- the game anyway refresh all thy changes in that file. This issiu still exists in 2023. Seems from 3.18 patch.
