"Abandoned Charts" delve chest not rewarding maps

Also happens to me... 2 chests so far... how do you setup your atlas so the delve drops maps? what a failure!

This is sad. Very sad. Takes away a lot of joy from delving.

Fudging my atlas did make maps start to drop but that's obviously not ideal or intuitive. I'm sure they'll come up with a better solution.

this is still happening with "abandoned charts" in delve and "dusty charts" in incursion temples. reading the recent comments here it seems it's related to the new atlas. fun detected! ;)

I have encountered the same issue, Delve, Temple, doesn't matter. As PyleWarlord observed, it is related to unlocks, but not to the maps, to the tiers.

Fix:

If you run anything else but maps, socket citadels with 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 watchstones. Every tier is now unlocked and all chests will drop maps.

Because the tier rolls first, it will be possible to drop that tier, then it will find a map with that tier.

Since awakening level doesn't matter in those cases its an easy fix with no drawbacks. If you have less then 10 watchstones it won't work as well, but you can expand the range with this method ... and you weren't supposed to drop higher tier maps anyways if you don't have enough to socket in the first place.

I was about to post bug report about this too.

I`m running delve whole day, and motly Chart chests drop NOTHING, I mean, really nothing. This wasnt so before - for sure. Is it shadownerfed or just broken?

Same problem, Delve map boxes dont drop maps, Alva Temple map room boxes dont drop charts, even Cartographers Strongboxes, chiseled and alched - dont drop maps.

Seems like Atlas is broken, with the new watchstones PoE client has no clue which map is which tier, and doesnt drop anything anymore.

Current sad state of PoE.

And the conquerers stopped spawning after the latest and "greatest" patch.

Just noticed this problem after opened 3 chart chests in one city and all of them empty, My Awakening level is 6 and delve monster level is 83.

For people with 32 watchstones/Awakener 8. Take some watchstones out of your Atlas. Couple zones leave with 4 stones. Couple other zones with 3 stones, 2 stones. And one each 1 and 0 stones. Only then Delve all the outposts and get a rain of maps.

It works.

Still, taking out watchstones to get drop is kinda.... lame? i mean i should do it everytime when i go delve to get a drop from abandoned charts... come on! Problem still in game.
