Haemophillia Bleed Suicide Bug [Solved]
Hi,
Currently using Haemophillia, Red Trail, Golden Rule, Flicker Strike to self inflict bleeds for unlimited flicker, using Endless Hunger and Brutal Fervour so as to be unaffected to bleeding while leeching and constantly leeching. However it seems as though when I have Haemophillia equipped, hitting certain mobs will kill me immediately with self-inflicted bleed damage, which I should be unaffected by. The bug occurs randomly when hitting magic and rare mobs. I have tried over a variety of areas. It does not happen with every pack. I have gone back to kill mobs in the same pack after dying and unequipping Haemophillia and they have not caused me to insta-bleed to death. However without Haemophillia I'll eventually die to self-inflicted bleeds. If you need to they and replicate the bug, the character name is EndoFlicko. Thanks, Endo EDIT- Turns out I am a noob and had chance to poison coming from the tree which wasn't showing on PoB since I'm using brutality in the main skill. And since the secondary damage effect from the gloves hits it has an inherent chance to poison which means I was dying to poison not bleed, which also explains why it was only working now and again instead of all the time. Can you explain your solution again? Where did the poison chance come from and how does poison affect the gloves? I really don't understand.
I have the same problem you described. I keep randomly dying to something even though I should be immune to bleed. |

I'm playing as Slayer and I had the dirty techniques cluster. The second node in the cluster gives you 20% bleed chance and also 20% poison chance. The Golden Rule reflects both bleeds and poisons you inflict back to you. I was using Brutality on my main 6-link setup, so I can't deal poisons with my main attack. However, the Haemophilia gloves come with the modifier "Bleeding enemies you kill explode, dealing 5% of their maximum life as physical damage." This damage hits and can't be supported by Brutality because it's from the item, not a skill gem, and since poison is based off your combined physical damage + chaos damage, the explosions can poison. So when enemies were exploding, as long as the explosion hit an enemy that has life remaining after the explosion damage is applied, a poison will be inflicted on that enemy. I think this is why it was only happening against magic and rare enemies. So I refunded the dirty techniques cluster. Now since I have no poison chance on the tree, I don't poison with any attacks. If you're having this problem I'd suggest searching your tree for chance to poison, or checking your gear for chance to poison, since bleed immunity does work. Hope this helps.
