Cant progress in campaign: An unexpected disconnection occurred

A practice leveling char gets instantly kicked to menus every single time I try to zone into Mines Level 1 from Highgate or if I try to go to my hideout. Also happened quite a few times prior, but was busy trying to practice level, so didn't try to troubleshoot right away. Cannot proceed in the story line further on said character. Fearing this popping back up on league start ….

Does not happen on any of my other characters. Yet?

Getting “Abnormal disconnect: An unexpected disconnection occurred” in the Client.txt file in logs file in the app directory. Please help – I'm worried this will problem will pop up during league start. The error text only shows up in small white text in lower left corner of the menu screen, and wasn't initially obvious.

Problem still persists after waking up. I'm at a loss on what to do next.

Connected via ethernet, no other pcs available to try.
Game is run via Steam
verified integrity of game files via Steam > Library > Properties... > Local files

ran PackCheck.exe: Checking pack file Content.ggpk...
Done. All file hashes are in sync.

deleted both cached shaders folders (backed up both to another HDD)
deleted Minimap folder in users/docs...
restarted router

uninstalled the game

also tried connecting to servers elsewhere around the world, same problem

when the kick happens in the US, its instant.

P.S. also tried, many many times to create a new instance of mine, and also highgate in case there was some interaction between the two. Can only queue from highgate because I dont have the waypoint yet.

im sure ive left out some other stuff, but everything is so hazy now after fighting this for 6+ hours.

can you have some kind of DNS problem?

I don't know much about any of this, lemmie google resolving DNS. hrmm.

ok, thx for the help, but, still kicking me to menus after I flushed the DNS cache with command prompt after entering ipconfig /flushdns


but at least I can now ping both washington DC addresses!
