Spirit Offering - help?

I have the a spirit offering set to trigger cast on damage taken. everything is working but one small problem... IDK how to apply that towards MY character, it does buff the minions but i want it to grant me the buff as well... IDK if i need something in the passive tree or what?

Nope, based off your stats. The formula with max corpses is:
