What kills the immortal AG?

Yea, sad story, my brave companion died. I was running a T15 map, everything smooth as usual (#SummonersOP). In the Blight encounter all of a sudden seven hell broke lose. Fireballs everywhere, char RIPed. No worries, she is used to it. I'm a bad player.
But back in HO all her knowledge could not revive the AG. According to PoB he had >70k life and ~20k regen, capped resis. Map mods were not that nasty (crit, projectiles but afaik no other damage mods) so I wonder what happened. I'm not complaining, Wraeclast is deadly after all. But before I rip the next 3EX, I have some questions:

- What is out there that puts out that much damage?
- What about Shaper? Can AG survive the encounter or should I leave him at home (remind you, pretty limited player-skills).
- Can the AG die after the char is dead? And if yes, does this influence his defenses?

Thank you.

Really difficult to tell... What was your AG gear setup? Did you have his resistances capped? Meatshield linked?

My minions can tank Uber Elder, Shaper, all bosses, even chaos damage no problem, but if I were to bet my best bet is that your AG died to chaos damage.

Thanks for the reply.
I used the "Mask of the stitched demon" setup with 19% life as extra energyshield (9% from body armour + Grave Intentions. GI on Amulet, if that matters). Kingmaker, Victarios, some life and res on gloves and armour.
According to PoB: >70k life, next to 20k regen/sec. Ele Resis overcapped, Chaos at 65%, 25% PD reduction from tree.
No meat shield, only minion life (20/20), AG is 21/20.
For the new one I'm setting up, PoB shows 90k life, 35k regen. Ele Resis overcapped by 35%, chaosres at 60% (I also upgraded the gear of the summoner a bit). For all I know, that should be immortal, but yeah, thought this about the first one too.

What are the stats of your AG?

Is there anything I'm not aware of, that could suppress the AGs regen (mob/map mod, ailment, Blight-something)?

Physical or elemental reflect maybe?

If I forget to switch to Triad Grip on phys reflect maps (or unid), my zombies kill themselves realy fast, never saw the AG take even a scratch (and I cleared half the map before the death, would have noticed map reflect). Ele reflect was never an issue at all.
As for phys or ele thorns: I dont know, what % they can reach. The AG had about 30k DPS, 2/3 physical. Can he kill himself with that?

The only things that damage me in blight encounters are those fire-throwing things. Their burning ground is nasty. Or maybe your Ag just got unlucky shotgun-critted by everything not aimed at you.

To compare, my AG uses: Victario's flight, Southbound, Kingmaker, Leer Cast and some armor I don't even remember really. Probably a rare with resists. Didn't lose any hp even in uber elder fight, which was my first attempt ever, and my behaviour there was more or less like of a headless chicken so I definitely didn't have time to babysit him :)
TL;DR: yes, he shouldn't even notice that wannabe Cthulhu's attacks.

AFAIK all your minions become "ethereal"(cannot deal or take damage) after you die. So, no.

Based on it, I also met that situation, happens for me once in a couple of hundred blight events. I do not know, what blight mob / boss / tower combination does it, but very rarely like hundreds of fireballs filling the screen, basically destroying anything in their way.

I do not use AG, I have zombies, carrion golems, specres and skeletons, but they are instantly killed in a couple of hits from that screen wide fireball attack. Meanwhile, they can easily handle and survive shaper and uber elder, or anything in delve at depths 350.

So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0.
All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this.
Thanks for the replies!
So probably it was just an unfortunate combination of mods. I hope, it doesnt occur again soon.
