Infernal Legion Support Effect Continues Even After Being Removed

As the title says, linking Infernal Legion Support to a minion skill will add the effect to the minion, but removing it will not remove the effect once added. I'm not sure if it still deals damage to enemies, but my minions continue to take the fire damage and still have the visual effects even when the gem has been removed.

As expected, the effect eventually ends when they die or if you switch maps, but otherwise will continue indefinitely in case their regen is faster than the fire damage.
