Skill-tree reset....
..... I think that would be awesome if we were able to reset whole skill tree and spent points again. Even multiple times in new leauge / free of charge or for in-game currency /.
Think would be really heaplful and probably increased number of casual players in my opinion. What rest of you think about it? Last bumped on Dec 13, 2019, 8:06:08 PM

" Well, I think you seem to have missed the entire point of regret orbs and limited respec points as a reward for optional quests. Exactly what you're describing was a large part of why a bunch of people I know quit playing Diablo 3 after literally the first week. If no decisions you make in character building have any consequence, you haven't made any decisions at all. Just make a new build if you want to try something 100% different. It's more cost effective than buying 90+ regret orbs, and you only get better at a game by playing it. |

Hi, thanks for replay and no, I didnt missed the point of skills in PoE.
The only thing that made me write this post is.... .... time. I love playing PoE and supported it many times but Im working and have quite busy life. Creating new character and reaching 70+ level takes time which I assume many people dont have. Respec your skill tree with one click would be really helpful since I dont have THAT much time to playthrough game multiple times. ...or maybe at least in STANDARD game? Not new leauges of course. Time is something people dont have that much these days and for some of us would be really nice to have that option. /even Dark Souls has respec...and more and more games have it too/. So maybe one day you will realize that reseting your skill tree is not an issuee in PoE. Thank you for reading and anwsering. Cant wait to play PoE 2 guys. Great work. Keep it coming and 'Take my money' hahahaha. |

From time to time, I wish to have these resets as well, but today I think that the game at it current state it will lose more that it would gain.
I don't think that there is much hope that GGG will even make it happen. Why would GGG add with PoE 2 a second campaign to level your character, if they want you to level only once and than respec freely? I think, that GGG wants us to do the leveling. They spend a lots of effort by adding whole new ways to expecience the character progression. Why would the add incentives to not level a new character at the same time? Let's explore new playstyles - Play it your own way, not just like the others.

" No it definitely didn't, it was one of my favorite parts of the game. And it was heavily limited in the sequels. Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

" Actually Dark Souls 3 has respec - 5 time only thou, Dark Souls 2 has respec as well. Diablo 2 got its respec with last patch. Im just syaing that its not THAT terrible idea. Again - some people dont have that much time to spent on POE. Reaching level 70 in PoE - for me - is at least 2 weeks? not mentioning getting right gear. Creating another char. is almost impossible with so little time. Just think about it GGG. We have Solo leauge.... maybe there? Maybe another league? I think it will happen - sooner or later. BTW - is mobile version of PoE will have RESPEc guys? Thank you and hope PoE 2 will be awesome. |

An easier way of respeccing skill trees would be incredible. I like to experiemnt with my builds. Releveling a character every time I think "What would this build be like with X as a damage dealer instead of Y?" keeps the game from being accessible to me on a long term basis. I'll play for half a league at a time every couple of years, but I won't invest any money into it.

Regret orbs exist for a reason.

you can for currency.
120 regret orbs sounds fair. 150 if you wanna change ascendancy too. |
