How to sustain T16 guardian maps

Recently, I'm running elder burial chambers with 4 sextants, 3 fragments, Bloodline/Nemesis/Harbinger depends on the map mod. I do roll maps (and vaal some maps), and always trying to run good maps with good sextant mods. The result wasn't too bad, I got 8 maps from running 10 maps.

So, here is the problem:
1. I didn't do the shaper elder pingpong effect. (I've heard shaper elder influenced maps have higher pack size)
2. As there are 4 white maps around burial chambers this league, I can put 4 white sextants around my elder burial chambers, and I can also put 3 white sextants around + 1 red sextants on the elder burial chambers map. Does red sextant gives better mods? (I can't find answer for this one)
3. I didn't have a huge map pool to roll maps and sort them. Sometimes, good sextant mods may be wasted on trash maps. But there is still chances to drop T16 maps.

Farming guardians instead of farming T16 elder maps:
1. Do people use 4 or 5 red sextants on guardian maps? Or they don't even use sextants when farming guardians?
2. After spreading the elder influence to 4 of the guardian maps, just like the way we did to spawn uber elder, will the elder influence move away? If not, does it mean that we can farm one of the guardian with infinite shaper elder influence.
3. Do those guardian maps have higher density? I've seen someone sustained T16 guardian maps without using sextants, fragments, prophecy. He didn't even roll maps for good numbers. So, what make it easier to sustain guardian maps?

I know the questions are very basic, it's my first time trying to farm T16s. In previous leagues, I was farming white maps and low level delving. I want to see why people are farming T16 burial chambers instead of farming T4 ones.
