game won't recognize my nvidia card

The game wont recognize my nvidia graphics card (640m) on my acer laptop due to the integraded intel graphics 4600 on windows 10.

I tried all the stuff I found via google, like forcing the game to run with my nvidia card. All other games use my nvidia card fine since I set the settings that way, however PoE wont do that.
I also tried upating my intel driver, I actually found out there was a wrong driver installed which I deinstalled. It doesn't let me install official intel drivers though cuz I own an acer Laptop. On the acer page I only find an older version of the driver.
It also doesn't let me disable the intel card btw if anybody wants to suggest that, acer wont let you. At least in no way I know of currently.
My nvidia driver is up to date as well, there was an update a few days (or weeks) ago as well which I installed.

The standard card is set to nvidia in the control panel, however when I rightclick the .exe file it shows the intel card as default.
I dont have the option to use the nvidia card ingame either.

Also yes, I'm aware it may show the wrong card but it doesn't. I checked it with my task manager and the only card used is indeed my intel card.

I played the game a few years befor and Im pretty sure I didnt have that issue back then, but maybe I just didn't notice as well.
No idea what to do now and I dont think I'd play the game with my intel card since it doesn't look, let's say, that nice :)

Any other suggestions what I could do?
I mean yea, there is a chance to ask the acer support for an updated version of the intel driver, however does that even solve my issue? I don't even want to use that card at all and I have no issues with any other game so far.

Going into graphics settings of windows, adding PoE 64 bit exe there and turning it to high performance solved the issue for me.
Found that on another thread in this forums.

I, however, feel like that PoE support is kinda trash. Why do I even have to post my issue in a forum where nobody answered instead of being able to submit a ticket.
