Transmutation Shards

Was wondering why I'm not getting any Shards when vendoring items. Was getting plenty before, but since playing today I don't get any when selling items. Has something changed that I'm not aware of?

You get them for vendoring unidentified magic (blue) items.

Have you only been vendoring rare or identified magic items?

After reading your reply I went and vendored a un-identified "blue" item, and was given shards straight away.

So that's where they, (shards) come from. Maybe I should read more in the future :)
