Stuck in merveil's lair.

attacked merveil in a 2 man party, i died and released back to town and my partner killed her.
when i returned to the lair merveil is dead but the quest is not complete and thus i cant use the exit. cant find any way to reset the area or quest. Char: SerPaladin, Europe, default. |

Currently, only those in the area count as having killed the boss. If you die and respawn in town, you can miss out if the boss is killed before you manage to rejoin the area.
You can Ctrl-Click on the area transition to force a new instance to spawn. Code warrior

I did the CTRL-click and set new instance option button. It only resets Cavern of wrath but not anger or merveil's lair. It's lame.

That is because it is two separate areas. You need to control click on cavern of anger only. The lair is still technically part of anger as you can scroll the map around to see it.
