pshhhh they have different weapon requirements man, totally different skills.

Naw it's not lazy it's advertising. You get more people with "we made cool new skill" versus "we updated a skill no one ever liked."

I can understand that but there's too many skills in the game and so many of them are not even being played. They should just either remove some of them or update them. Maybe lazy isn't the best word but it just feels weird seeing a skill almost identical to another and feel like if they were merged it would be an amazing skill. I bet if I took the time, I could find a few more skills that are closely related to another that could be merged or intertwined saving space since it would be 1 skill versus 2 or even 3.

I'm not disagreeing it's just why they do it. There's not much value in revamping unpopular old skills compared to just making a new one and leaving the other sitting around.

Is this change my mind a reddit thing?

Johnny Johnny, it's not always about reddit. Humor over the internet is a hard thing to do. I failed.

Bladestorm has two modes. One's stationary and other over moves slowly forwards. Sweep is just a one time full motion attack. Completely different skills.

That's literally the only different in the skill. It's almost like you didn't read what I wrote.
Sweep has knockback as well which is kind of a big difference since knockback can affect how you play.

I understand that, and I understand the difference when using the other skill. But when you take the flashy particles off and look at the skills at there core, they're the same.
Just call it a re-skin of Sweep (which I have pined for since it was released) and be done with it.
No, I am not here to change your mind.

I didn't know this was brought up before, doesn't surprise me that it has been brought up before though. Most of the replies seem to be arguing against the smallest differences to make it sound like the skills are different.
