Death's Oath and Supreme Ego from Elegant Hubris

The wording on Supreme Ego:

"

You can only have one Aura on you from your Skills
Your Aura Skills do not affect Allies
50% more Effect of Auras from your Skills on you
50% more Mana Reserved

The wording of the first line is somewhat confusing. It seems logical that more Effect of Auras doesn't apply to Death Aura because its not on you.

However since its not on you, it shouldn't count towards the one Aura on you from your Skills, but at the moment it seems it does. If you have Death's Oath equipped, it lets you activate another aura, but doing so disables Death Aura. Re-equipping Death's Oath efter enabling another aura disables that aura.

This doesn't seem consistent. Either it affects you and should benefit from the 50% more Effect of Auras, or it doesn't and shouldn't count toward the one Aura you can have.

Is it also intended that curses supported by Blasphemy should count as Auras for the purpose of this keystone, when they aren't "on you" either?

I would also like some answers here. It would be awesome if we got extra damage out of death's oath. But from what I am reading, it doesn't work this way?

The Effect of Auras won't apply to Death Aura as the aura isn't on you.

This is intended as "You can only have one Aura on you from your Skills".
This also also true with skills such as Pride and any curse which is supported by Blasphemy, they are not on you and do not benefit from the Effect of Auras from Supreme Ego but you cannot have another aura alongside them.

We can take a look into the current functionality, I can't say whether or not we will change it.
There is a subtle difference in what those stats are referring to.

Death Aura is an "Aura on you" in that it's an aura for which you are the origin point. Since it is also from your skills, the first stat restriction applies to it.

However in the "Effect of Auras... ...on You" stat, the "on you" is referring to the Effect, not the Aura. This is not a stat that globally modifies the effect of auras if the auras are "on you", it's a stat that modifies the effect on you from auras - as opposed to the effect an aura has on any other object.

Death Aura is an aura that is on you, but does not apply any effect on you. So the aura is restricted by the "only one" stat, and there is no effect on you to increase with the effect increase stat.
