PSA: Timeless Jewel altered Keystones are linked to the Name on the Jewel, not Seed number

Have a conclusion on the naming and the link to Alt Keystone they provide.

Well, many of keystones name is relevant to the person's name ie: Zerphi = Eternal Youth, Doryani = Corrupted Soul, Xibaqua = Divine Flesh. All lore related.

Now if you are going to build with one of the keystones from above, you don't have to go blindly on trade. You still have to roll (with divine) for the other changes to small nodes and notables. re-Rolling seed with divine will not change alt keystone.

Update:

After this post was made, an update from POEDB has confirmed the correlation between the name and the given alt keystone.

Note: The effect on the minor passive tree nodes are linked the seed number, afaik. Only the keystones aren't.

Thanks for the info, exile. But did i miss or there is no info how those jewels affect normal passive tree points that we saw in teaser to have changed icons/bonuses maybe/ too ?

There's far too many of those to list out here, although poedb has it - https://poedb.tw/Keystone

You can also check out my previous PSA post for some pics of them in action - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2520875

Care to explain this to me how its working and whats the logic of this wording?

I'm assuming it means the amount of life your currently leeching which by default is capped at 10% per second. So without any leech buffs, you'd have 5% less damage taken while on maximum leech.

Since your not gaining life from leech, it's probably fair to assume it will run for the full length of the leech rather than stopping at 100% HP.

So what- we need both A) actual damage= >1% of hp up to 20% of hp for 1%-10% less dmg taken bonus defense B) alternative way to stay alive cuz all the leech and its nodes are gone for some 5-10% less dmg taken for 5secs? Seems real scam to me cuz i cant even think of a build that would be ok with such weird gameplay and path into STR area...ggwp, tggg. :X

I'm curious about Second Sight. The passive itself is straight forward, lose half your chance to hit, get a big multiplier to your crit chance. But how would that interact with things that say "You cannot be Blinded"? Like the upgraded Soul of Ralakesh. Would you no longer be blinded or would the effects of the passive override it?

xD TGGG scammed us with those jewels, bro. Keystone bonuses are so useless imo that only specific builds can use them and not sure if this will be a win-trade for the player.
But notables and normal points that get their new or improved bonuses seem good on few places for more builds, fortunately for us.

Well yeah, that's kinda the point of these, along with most other Keystone passives. They're meant for specific builds/playstyles.

Just because you can't see their use right away doesn't mean they are instantly useless. Sometimes you gotta think outside the box. For Second Sight specifically, I can already see a couple ways to work around the fact that you're always blinded:

-The expensive route: Craft "Hits cannot be evaded" on a weapon
-The cheap and easy to access route: Use the Champion ascendancy (Taunt monsters with a warcry. Now they can no longer Evade)

And I'm sure there are other ways.

I was simply asking if the stat "Cannot be blinded" from some items or the upgraded Ralakesh pantheon would also bypass the downside

But you want to be blinded; you only get the benefit while blinded.
