Option to disable Animation Cancelling.
|
Could we please have an option to disable animation cancelling if we don't want it? Multistrike with high attack speed feels absolutely terrible now. We used to be able to hold our movement and use the skill to stutter step attacks, now doing so just cancels the second and third attack causing either a ton of lost damage or a ton of lost time trying to time steps between attacks which is a huge problem with high attack speed.

" You will get used to it. It make the game flow much nicer. "Never argue with an idiot. They will take you down to their level and beat you trough experience."

" Humans can get used to damn near anything. That doesn't mean we should. This change is shit that we shouldn't have to adjust to. How does my Frost Orb being cancelled immediately if I'm holding down left click to move "make the game flow much nicer?" It seems to me it does the exact opposite of that. Now, instead of simply hitting E and having an Orb drop, I have to take my fucking hand off my mouse, hit E, and wait until the Orb has been cast so that I don't accidentally cancel it by moving too soon. THEN I can start moving again. This shit makes the game flow like a river made of goddamn bricks. |

Please for the love of god let us turn off animation canceling. Never have I ever wanted to cancel a 0.25 second cast time enduring cry cast so it goes on cooldown because I accidentally forgot to let go of my move only key.

maybe they could add a move only option that won't cancel animations that you can bound to your LMB. i'd use that 100% of the time no regrets.
not being able to stutter step and dodge around in between attacks feels like trash. i mean, you kind of can do it, but its much more tedious. takes way more mouse clicks since you have to constantly let go of LMB and then click again and just not as smooth |

Honestly i think the issue is with canceling stuff before they happen.
I think a nice compromise would be to keep animation lock in the first half but be able to cancel on the second half. They could also let movement skill/defense skill like immortal call cancel everything, that way we dont get stopped out if we walk but we can dodge/defend with certain skills. Something like a priority list of skill i guess. |
