Cult of Apocalypse Armour Pack needs some help.
I usually don't post much more on here anymore, and lord knows I've already spent far more than enough on this marvelous game (sorry, trying to save up for a house), but I am (or... was) very tempted to buy the Cult of Apocalypse Armour Pack support tier. I mean, look at this:
![]() Nice splashes of gold in the bone and armour all over the place, right? To me, it looks nice (and it would look nice with the golden skull). But then, you go to the support pack page, and you see this... ![]() WHAT?! I can see maybe a little bit of gold in the skull from that image, but just barely... and I might even been imagining it. 'Okay,' I tell myself, 'that can be fixed perhaps, if enough of us ask for it.' But then, I watch the video and realize there is another big drawback to this armour set that really makes me sad. ![]() Lack of gold and lack of ribs when on a female character?! I get it, the female characters have breasts and it would look really weird to have warped ribs over them, but... F^@#! The Witch is my favorite character (Necromancer for life over here) and to see the armour look even worse on female characters makes me not even want to think of purchasing this pack. Any way either of these things can be looked at or something? Like, maybe add a second chest piece that *gasp* flattens the chest area on female characters and retains the ribs? Make the hints of gold more radiant so they actually stand out? Please? Last edited by GoatEatingToilet#3170 on May 23, 2019, 7:34:01 PM Last bumped on May 24, 2019, 3:07:13 PM

" I would hope so. But my concern is that if it only matters to a few players, a fix likely won't even come into play. " Not entirely. I like the female version of that chest piece. However, I do not think it fits with the theme of the other pieces when presented as a whole. It's a skeletal theme without any skeletal feel in the female version. The female chest piece would (likely) better fit a different set (or at least feel better, to me, if we were given a choice of which one to wear). |

btw maybe splashes of gold in the bone and armour all over the place comes from golden light around it?

" Comparing the first picture to the last one, you can see there is light hitting the armour in both images, but one is severely lacking any hints of gold at all. The skull may have some gold (again, I am hopeful, but doubtful), but there is clearly just black shoulder spikes with no gold in the light in the second pic. |

Nah you're right GGG definitely dropped the ball going from the artist drawing of it, to the actual version. The only thing that looks like it has gold on the MTX is the helmet with the skull face, and the weird wing things on the side of the helmet. It no longer has the other gold accents that it has in the drawing, not on the spikes, no on the rib cage, the belt details, and the legs. Not only that, but in the artist drawings it also looks like the arms, and legs have a whiteish fabric which I thought looked really good, gave it some needed contrast and depth. Now it just all looks washed out with the same tones everywhere. It's not awful looking, but doesn't look anywhere as good as it does in the drawing
