Can you help me figure out how to bind WASD for movement?

You can't...this game have no built in option for directional movement keys, only change settings from skill bar, open it and pick that icon with feet that make it possible to move without attacking (if there is hostile target in front). There is a key bind for making your character stop (it is for casting ranged spells or ranged weapons).

Bind WASD as active skills instead.

(Actually I have AWE for common skills, 1, 2, and Mouse3 for auras and passives, S, D, Space, and Mouse4/5 for flasks)
Lol, wut? no WASD? Literally unplayable. Glad I wasted all that time downloading, WTF.

Seriously though, how hard is it to do the bare minimum and allow your players to move like in literally every other game. this is egregious and you should feel shame.
Why not use mouse which is much better?

Besides the fact that all I expect is a *choice* to bind WASD to movement, this is not a matter of opinion when I say click to move is worse. You cannot possibly claim that having to move the cursor behind you to move in one direction and then immediately move the cursor back towards your enemies to fire at them is better than simply holding down WASD to move (only while you're not attacking, I understand you can't do both at the same time) while keeping your cursor hovering over the enemies. I'm not saying everyone MUST play the way I want to, I'm saying the devs made a noob mistake in not allowing their players to choose.

And don't mention abilities on keybinds, I played WOW for years, there are like 14 keys other than WASD within easy reach and when combined with alt shift or ctrl there are plenty of available keybinds.

Only a complete noob would say that. Mouse is far superior for PoE and you would cripple yourself by using WASD for everything.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
Yeah, I am a noob, I got five minutes in and the game is literally unplayable.

Please educate me? WHY would I be crippling myself?

This guy hacked Diablo 3 to be able to use WASD so that it plays the way actual games are supposed to be played.

Go ahead, explain to me how I'm wrong. I'm waiting.
Out of curiosity, is this your first isometric arpg? Because they all kind of work like that. Also, there are a lot of movement skills in the game that I have no clue as to how they would work with a wasd setup. I supposed if it's that important to you, you can uninstall the game, but I'd recommend giving the game a chance.

Agreed. I prefer ranged builds so I'm often kiting. It's tedious clicking back and forth across the screen to move away from enemies, turn around to aim at enemies, turn again to move away, etc. Precious milliseconds are wasted waiting for the cursor, resulting in mini stuns between actions. Accuracy suffers in an effort to mitigate those stuns. Repetitive strain injury sets in.

Of course pain relief WASD should be optional. Builds designed to run at enemies probably wouldn't benefit a lot, and it would be difficult for some players to juggle WASD + skill keys. Others have gamer mice with plenty of buttons to compensate, or as has been pointed out, we'd manage without issue as in any other WASD game with many critical keys.
